From 300 guest galas to intimate beach side weddings, Jessica's knowledge of Michigan's beautiful West coast makes her an invaluable asset to couples planning
a unique lake shore wedding. She prides herself in giving each client incredible hands-on service, from full service planning to day-of coordination. Jessica
began her career in events in 2001 when she began special events course work at Grand Valley State University, and had the opportunity to help clients plan fundraisers, business functions and galas!
In 2007, after moving back to Southwest Michigan, Jessica opened Stella Event Design to offer brides professional planning services.
Jessica combines a background in corporate events with her love of design and passion for weddings, to help couples create a wedding that is not only beautiful, but also a successful and smooth-flowing event!
Jessica has a bachelors degree in Public Relations with a course work emphasis in special events. She lives in St. Joseph, Michigan with her husband Joshua.

Brittany Johnson
Event Planner
Brittany first joined Stella Event Design as an event assistant in the Spring of 2009, and quickly became a valuable asset to our team throughout our 2009 wedding season and beyond. After graduating from Taylor University, Brittany joined Stella Event Design as a full time Event Planner. Brittany goes above and beyond in absolutely everything she does, and she has an amazing passion for helping people to plan amazing events. Her excitement and personal, hands-on approach helps brides & grooms to not only relax, but to feel confident that their wedding is in caring and knowledgeable hands.
Brittany works out of her home in Grand Rapids, Michigan and plans and coordinates in both Southwest Michigan and the Grand Rapids, Holland and Grand Haven areas! She is available for consultations in both Grand Rapids and St. Joseph and is available for day-of coordination, basic planning, full service event planning, and custom services! Brittany has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Taylor University and lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Mary Beth George
Event Planner
Mary joined Stella Event Design as an assistant in 2008 and quickly gained the trust of clients and vendors. With previous experience in floral design and
a passion for organization, Mary enjoys helping couples create the wedding of their dreams while helping them to relax and enjoy the event planning process. Mary is available for Day-of Coordination services throughout West Michigan.
Mary has a bachelors degree in counseling from Great Lakes Christian College and lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband and son.
